• If a patient does not qualify for other Bariatric procedures, Gastric Sleeve surgery just might be possible.
• Combined with additional Bariatric surgeries, successful weight loss can finally be realized in cases of super obesity.

Risks

• If a patient’s BMI is extremely high, additional weight loss surgery may be required.
• Patients unable to change their dietary habits will not experience the weight loss results they’re expecting with the Sleeve Gastrectomy.
• A variety of complications can occur, as is the case with all types of surgery.
• The procedure is permanent, therefore cannot be reversed. Additional weight loss procedures, including future surgeries, may be necessary to achieve the weight loss goals.
